Dreaming of a dress for vow renewal

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post in that I have been paid to review the website mentioned. All opinions and thoughts are my own and can not be bought! I recommend this site based on my online experience and am sharing with my readers because of that.

Mike and I have been married for 10 years! That is a long time, right? I mean, it’s a decade! Our wedding anniversary was yesterday and it made me start thinking of the past and the future. One thing I regret is not having a ceremony for our wedding. We went to the courthouse. We were parents, we were broke. It just worked out best. But, it certainly wasn’t my “dream wedding”. I am thinking that maybe for our 15th anniversary, we could renew our vows.

Because I missed out on all the fun of wedding shopping, I didn’t get to dream about what my dress would look like. I decided to start looking for what my renewal dress might resemble. I started at DressFirst.  Talk about a site that gives you options! I’ll walk you through some of what I was able to pick from.

I can choose a category. From prom dresses to wedding dresses and everything in between, DressFirst has them. I spent a good amount of time looking at the Little Black Dresses but decided that isn’t necessarily appropriate for a vow renewal! If I ever have a cocktail party or something though, I am starting there! CUTE! Okay, so I picked Special Occasion dresses. Now, my options go from there. I can choose by price range, style of dress, hemline/train, neckline, embellishment, fabric type, back style, straps (or not or even how many), what type of sleeves I want (if I want them), and if I want a wrap. Next I can choose from colors and seasons. Plus, if I am feeling “fancy”, I can look at dresses Inspired by Celebrity styles. Like I said, there is a lot of options to help you find the perfect dress for any occasion! They have plus sized dresses too and you can search just through those!

This is a dress that I really liked. I loved the flow of it and thought it was just so pretty!

I love the bead work on the top and the sash!

This was totally not the color I was thinking about though. When I clicked on the design I was shocked. You can pick from 28 colors for the dress and 29 different colors for the sash. Essentially, you can create the dress you want! Even more shocking is the sizing. If you fit into a predetermined size, you can choose that. In addition, if you need a custom size, you can get one! Just enter your measurements and you are set.  This isn’t just for this dress either. This is for every dress I looked at. You have options on them all!

This dress is listed at $174.99 and I think that is a fabulous price! The prices on all the dresses on DressFirst are reasonable and make that special occasion less stressful.

I would totally recommend you check out this website! If you have a child going to a formal dance, you need a dress for a cocktail party, your child is getting married, you are going to a wedding, you need a flower girl dress, or whatever special occasion has you looking for a dress, you are likely going to find something you love right here. I know that I spent some time looking and was more than happy with the selection, pricing, and availability. Give them a try!

I loved looking through their dress selection online – whether for a wedding, vow renewal, or dance. What a great site!

Wow, that’s an impressive set of custom options! I’ll have to look into it, maybe Pin a couple dresses I like. We’ve been married six years, and we’ve talked about doing something like a vow renewal for either our 10th or 15th wedding anniversary. I would love to be able to leave the kids with family for a weekend after, though, so probably 15th 😉
