Happy Baby is committed to making baby food as healthy and delicious as homemade with the essential nutrients needed for optimal growth and development. They are allergen friendly, all organic and made with 100% natural ingredients. All packaging is BPA-free and phthalate-free.
I was recently given the opportunity to try some of the Happy Baby Foods for Joley. We were sent some coupons and headed to the store. We decided on some Organic Apple Puffs and Organic Banana Puffs. Here is some information about the Organic Puffs:
ORGANIC PUFFS are different than other first foods on the market:
• 1/2 the sugar as the leading brands (Gerber and Beech-Nut each contain 1g sugar)
• good source of Iron, Vitamin D, Calcium, and B Vitamins
• made with whole grainsthe HAPPYBABY difference
• Always Organic: Never any artificial flavorings. Sweetened with 100% fruit juice. Our puffs are made with organic whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
• Fortified with vitamins and minerals: Enriched with
40 IUs (10%) of your baby’s recommended daily value of
Vitamin D. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, many infants are deficient in this vital nutrient.
• Recommended by: Dr. Bob Sears, renowned
pediatrician and author of The Baby Book.
• Better Value: Our containers hold 40% more product than the leading brands. (Gerber and Beech-Nut are 1.5oz each)
• Green Packaging: Our containers are sourced through
a green partnership with Method.â„¢ They are made with 25% recycled materials, are BPA free, and are recyclable.
• We support: sustainable agriculture. No pesticides,
chemical fertilizers, or genetically engineered ingredients (GEIs).
So, what did Joley think of the Puffs?
She loved them! She liked the apple better than banana but did love them both. When offered Happy Baby Puffs and another brand, she chose the Happy Baby every time. And, for the sake of a review, I tried them too and know why she liked them. By the way, Johnny liked them too.
We also used the coupons for Happy Bellies cereal. Here is some information about it:
HAPPYBELLIES is the ONLY baby cereal with probiotic immune support. It is also the only organic cereal with DHA. HAPPYBELLIES is recommended by respected pediatrician, and author of The Baby Book and The Healthiest Kid in the Neighborhood, Dr. Bob Sears.
the HAPPYBABY difference
• Organic goodness: All HAPPYBABY products are always USDA-certified organic.
• Enriched: with DHA for brain and eye development, plus iron, vitamins and minerals essential for baby’s growth.
• Probiotic protection: Good bacteria specially formulated to help strengthen your baby’s digestive system which can
protect against the development of allergies. Dr Sears agrees: “Baby foods with probiotics are a great way to make sure your baby’s system has plenty of “good bowel bugs.†The gastrointestinal (GI) tract is the body’s largest immune organ. The better you feed baby’s GI tract, the
better you feed baby’s immune system.â€
• 100% natural: We support sustainable agriculture. No pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, no genetically engineered ingredients (GEIs). BPA FREE.
We decided to try the Organic Brown Rice Cereal and Organic Oatmeal Cereal. We used the cereal mixed with homemade baby foods for Joley. The one thing I can say about the cereals is that they really go a long way. Where we would need several tablespoons of another brand, we could use a small portion of that amount with the Happy Bellies cereal. Joley seemed to really enjoy it as well.
