It has been a goal of mine for years (sad but true) to read the Bible from cover to cover. I have started and stopped many times and have felt overwhelmed with the task that I gave myself. That is, until now.
I have decided to join the Bible in 90 Days challenge! Thanks to Mom’s Toolbox, I was given insight into this program and thought I would give it a go. Check out this post on her blog for more info.
Why do I want to do this challenge?
I have always been interested in the writings of the Bible but have never really studied it. As a Catholic, that just isn’t something we do. Now, this is the NIV version but I think to study any bible from front to back is better than none so I am not stressing over it. (Catholics follow the NAB version.) You don’t have to buy the Bible In 90 Days book and can use any Bible you have but it is recommended to use the one created for this program.
With each day I am drawn more to my faith and understanding it, embracing it, and sharing it. I think this is a fantastic way to do this… 12 pages at a time.
Would you like to join the challenge? Head over to The Bible In 90 Days website. You can receive emails that will give you encouragement and helpful tips for that day’s readings. I will be blogging my journey here for you and would love if you would join me in this challenge. You can link up at Mom’s Toolbox with the link above and see who else has joined in. Let me know if you are going to be reading the Bible in 90 days with me! If you are on Twitter, you can follow updates about this challenge by searching and using the #B90days hashtag.
