I bought a baby book for Joley. I looked and looked for one that I liked and finally found one.
I have a bunch of papers in it from Joley’s birth and some papers from her well-baby visits. I may or may not have filled out information in it. With Johnny I had it all filled out until there was just birthdays to do. I wasn’t overly interested in those to be honest. I just wanted to know when he did his firsts and things he enjoyed.
My blog does that for me for Joley. I keep telling myself that I will just search my tag “milestones” and then fill in the dates for when Joley did her firsts. I will fill in her baby book. I will… someday.
In the meantime, I will add this to my growing list of things that need to be added to her baby book…
Joley now has 3 teeth! She has the two on the bottom that were my fabulous Mother’s Day gift and she had a top one pop through over the last weekend! She has two more that are ready to push through. Breastfeeding while teething is so difficult. As much as I complained the last time, I now realize how lucky I was that they were bottom teeth. Her little tongue covered those little buggers causing her pain. Now, she has these exposed little while teeth that she so enjoys chomping on my poor breast with.
She shows a significant change when she wears her teething necklace so I totally recommend getting one if you have a teether. I forgot to put her necklace on her after her bath tonight and she was up within an hour of going to bed. She never does that. Mike went up and put her necklace back on her. After some coaxing, she went back to sleep and hasn’t been up again. We are also using Tylenol for her when she seems overly uncomfortable. I was using Hyland’s teething tablets but I am wondering if they are making her a bit hyper. She hasn’t been able to fall asleep well the two times I have given them to her in the past week. Anyone know if that is common or has anyone’s kiddos had this issue?
We will get through this round of teething despite her biting. I keep telling her no and she will stop and smile at me with that “I-am-so-cute-so-why-are-you-telling-me-no” look. She really is cute too. Problem is, she knows it. Already.

Amber Teething necklaces are really awesome! My aunt used them and was able to catch her zees, thanks to it.
