A huge thank you to Sippy Cup Mom (Melissa) for the invite to this event. We received the products mentioned in exchange for our participation… but we would have went for the cupcakes. 🙂
We recently were invited by my very dear friend Melissa (Sippy Cup Mom) to participate in a Hello Kitty Fashion Show. It was centered around back-to-school and I just happen to have a little girl starting school this year and a lover of all things Hello Kitty. We were thrilled to be part of this fun event.
Melissa really did an amazing job with decorations and setting the stage for this fun day. Not only that, but the food was absolutely amazing! So amazing, in fact, that Johnny helped himself to a stomach ache before the day was over!
We were able to hang out for awhile and just have some fun. Jemma really loved the balloons and the kids had a blast just getting to know each other.
The girls all were given an outfit to wear down the runway as well as a backpack. Joley was ecstatic to pick out a backpack for school. She had been talking about it for weeks! The one she picked happened to be in her favorite color too so that was an extra special treat.
Joley really surprised me at how well she did with the runway. She is a natural. ha!
All the girls looked adorable in their outfits!
Baby Jemma even was able to get in on the fun. This is actually a lunch bag but it fits her perfectly as a backpack!
In the end, we all (the bloggers invited) got together for a photo! L-R– Cassie, , Lea, Me, Makeba, our host, Melissa, and Virginia. Not shown are Hannah and Eliza. Hannah’s adorable girls were part of the show but Eliza had a flat tire and sadly didn’t make it.
We had such an amazing time! Joley absolutely loves her outfit and backpack and it is a huge hit amongst her Kindergarten friends.

I may have grown up, but I never outgrew my love for Hello Kitty. This post just helped relived my Hello Kitty-filled childhood.

My nieces love Hello Kitty. They would love to have anything Hello Kitty. I did my Hello Kitty avatar with leather jacket and radio, ready to jam.

My daughter would have loved this. We can’t go into a store and not see Hello Kitty without her wanting me to buy it. Looks like everyone had a ton of fun.
