I will start with Target:
I bought Johnny 3 packs of Huggies diapers, a box of Luvs for Joley, 574 Huggies wipes, 4 Suave body washes, 2 Degree deodorants, 1 banana boat sunscreen, 2 boxes of Hefty kitchen bags, and 2 $1 flashcards. I saved $40.30 and received a $5 gift card back. This trip would have been cheaper if I hadn’t bought the Luvs diapers because while on sale, they weren’t “cheap”. The sunscreen and deodorants were all free. 🙂
Walgreens:
Trip 1
8 Ragu jars, 2 Quattro Razors, 2 boxes Hefty zip storage bags and a can of coffee. I spent $16.59 OOP and received $8 in Register Rewards back. The coffee was only .50 and the razors were only $1 each (retail is $9.99 each).
Trip 2
3 Right Guard deodorants and 1 bottle of St Ives body wash. I spent $1.41 OOP and received a $3 Register Reward back.
Walmart:
Not as great of a trip but there were a few things I needed that I didn’t have good coupons for. I bought 2 bottles of soda (this is actually a big money problem for us. Mike drinks a lot of soda), 1 jar of salsa (no coupon), 1 tub sour cream (no coupon), EVOO (no coupon and that stuff is pricey!), 1 can Mighty Dog (free), 2 bottle Glade air freshener (B1G1), 1 bag tortillas (no coupon), 4 packs hot dogs, 2 packs hot dog buns (free). I spent $24.61 OOP with a savings of $11 in coupons.
I am planning my Walgreens trip this week but there really isn’t much at all I am interested in besides the toothpaste (money maker). I have yet to check what Target has on sale.
