As this week draws to a close, I wanted to give a big shout out to all the Nurse-Midwives out there making a difference in the lives of women all over. I believe that every single woman and mother deserves to have an informed birth; a birth in which they participate in and feel at peace with the decisions made. I believe that every woman and mother deserves to have the embrace of loving hands from a Nurse-Midwife taking care of them and their precious baby, both unborn and born.
Someday I hope to be part of this wonderful group of nurses. Until then, thank you to every Nurse-Midwife for the changes you are making for women. If you know a Midwife, honor and thank them this week and always.
