My tween stepdaughter has been having some problems with acne lately. It has progressively gotten worse over the past 6 months and nothing we were trying was working. That is why, when given the chance to review Proactiv 365, I was more than happy to give it a go. I have seen Proactiv commercials for quite some time and even used it myself in the past. I was eager to see if it would work for my stepdaughter though.
We received the Proactiv 365 kit in the mail and she started to read about what she needed to do. Her main problem areas are her face and shoulders/back. She is self-conscious about it and wants to get it taken care of so she was excited to start the products and did so that shortly after it arrived.
She uses the Renewing Cleanser, the Revitalizing Toner, and the Repairing Treatment twice daily… once before school and once before bed. She found the system to be easy to understand and incorporate into her daily routine and she had no complaints about the products. Her skin has not been too dry since starting the Proactiv system and she is still using it daily (she likes it!).
While we didn’t need the extra help, Proactiv 365 offers expert skin care advisors on call for you, free online consultations with doctors, and community advice and tips. My stepdaughter wasn’t comfortable sharing any information about her acne with anyone but I can tell you this much… the Proactiv worked for her.
If you or someone you love has acne, I recommend you give Proactiv a try. My stepdaughter said her back isn’t really great yet but she has only been using the product for a few weeks. She (and I) have noticed a significant change in the amount of acne on her face though. As a mom of a tween girl, this is a huge plus for me and I am so glad to have found a product that works for her!
I apologize for my lack of pictures. While I do have “before” pics, I don’t have “after”. As typical of a tween girl, she grew embarrassed and wanted nothing to do with her picture being on my blog. I assure you that the product is working though!
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Proactiv and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
