My dog ate my new shoes; the shoes I bought after months of deliberation (seriously) to wear to church. I went to the mall (the MALL people… I hate the mall) to get these shoes on a weekend night. Young teenyboppers were there. I had Johnny and Joley with me. Tayler helped me pick them out. They were cute. Really cute. They were on sale too. I think they were only $15. They were a cute little black wedge sandal… perfect for the summer.
She ate one. Not both, just one. Just enough that it can no longer be worn. I *almost* cried.
I was going to show you a picture of the shoes. Not the ones she ate up because that is just sad. I was going to show you the web picture but they are no longer available. That means no picture and no replacement shoes. Instead, I will show you a picture of the dog that is no longer my best friend.
Edited to add: I lied. They do have them. I ordered them and they will be delivered to the store. I still won’t show a picture though because if you said they were ugly you would hurt my feelings. 🙂
