They are not as easy-going about the previa as the peri was. I really think it is that the peri lacks beside manner and is so matter-of-fact about stuff that he doesn’t really show emotion. Anyways, my OB is concerned about the spotting and wants to me to call and/or go to L&D if I have anymore. He said that I need to slow down and learn to relax more because this may only get worse as time goes on with the weight of the baby and the position of the placenta. He will be monitoring me more closely and they want me to be extra aware of what is going on with my body. I will have the u/s in 4 weeks and then another in the 3rd trimester sometime.
I called Mike and he is going to try to help more around the house. He does try but the problem is that I am so OCD that I need things done and can’t let anything sit. It drives me crazy. Someone send me some patience and strength to let things go more. I told Mike that I want to take Johnny to the zoo this weekend if the weather is nice. I am worried I may not be able to do that as time goes on and want to while I can.
I did find out that the peri was very confident that the baby is a girl because they even wrote on the u/s report that the baby’s gender is female. 🙂 I guess we for sure have a Joley (as much as they can be sure with a girl).
So, that is it for the update for now. I go back to the OB in 3 weeks, have my u/s in 4 weeks and then we will go from there. I am still being hopeful (naive) that the placeta can move up because I really want my VBAC. But, at least I will know in plenty of time to prepare this time if I have to have a c/s.
Ok, off to do some laundry and make lunch!
