As many of you know, I took a class this summer that I was not at all excited about… Economics. I learned a few things along the way.
- I am definitely not an economist.
- If the economy was counting on me to fix it, we would all be screwed.
- I will never think of “curves” in the same again.
- I am definitely not a youngster anymore. Staying up late to study is counterproductive.
- Going to school prior to having kids was much, much easier.
- Taking a class that is a must-pass is a bit stressful. Next time, if there is one, don’t wait until the last minute to take said class and I will save myself from a lot of panic.
- Online classes are hard enough. Taking an online class that I truly don’t care about takes more discipline than even I can muster up.
- No matter how many notes I take, if I don’t get the content, it isn’t going to make a difference.
- Help sessions are there for a reason. duh!
- I am doing what I know is right for my life.
Thanks to the one pre-requisite class I had to take, I now fully know that the path I have chosen and that I am pursuing is the right one for me! I finished my Economics final last night. Now, I just sit and wait for my grade… and then move on to bigger and better things!
