Have you seen Toy Story 3 yet?  If not, you really need to see it.  It has quickly become one of Johnny and Joley’s favorite movies!  They were beyond excited to know that we were going to have a Toy Story 3 Action Links party!  We gathered all the kids and a few friends and started setting up the fun stunt kits.

The kits are made to work together and create a chain reaction.  You can hook them to each other and create different possibilities.  The characters are sold separately but the kits each come with at least one character for that kit as well.

While certainly most appropriate for older kids, Johnny and his friend really enjoyed playing with the stunt kits.  They were able to set them up and played for over an hour with them.  They would have significant trouble putting the kits together though.  M really enjoyed playing with them and putting them in a different combination to see what would happen.

I think these are a great idea and are really fun.  But, they are really time consuming to put together and would not likely be possible without the help of an adult.  The kids had little trouble putting it all back up so that the chain reaction could occur again.  I found that, in the end, the kids enjoyed playing with the characters more than the kits though simply because of the time involved with setting the kits up.  Regardless, they had a good time and have been playing with the kits and characters since we set them up!

Disclosure: We were sent Toy Story 3 stunt kits and characters in order to facilitate this party. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were not compensated in any way.

Looks like fun! Hayden would love it, but it’s probably a little old for him!
