I participated in an Influencer Activation for State Farm Neighborhood Assist. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
The safety of my kids is one thing that weighs heavily on my mind all the time. I worry about them when they are outside, away from me, or even when they are right in front of me. I know that my experience with Jemma being hospitalized has something to do with it but I also know that it is common for parents to worry. One way I strive to keep my kids safe is to make sure the town we live in is as safe as I can make it. I know it is a big job but I do what I can. State Farm agrees with me!
State Farm Neighborhood Assist wants to help make a difference in our communities by giving grants to the causes that mean the most to us! There are so many causes that I love and so many that mean a lot to my friends, family, and neighbors. The State Farm Neighborhood Assist program connects individuals and communities with local non-profits to build safer, stronger, better-educated communities. Together with them, we all can make a difference!
With the help of State Farm Neighborhood Assist, people can identify problems in their community, connect them with local nonprofits that can help solve the problem, and provide an opportunity for communities to receive funding to make a positive impact in their neighborhood. Did you know that there is also a State Farm Youth Advisory Board? This is comprised of 30 students, ages 17-20, from across the United States who serve a two-year term. They strive to help communities and programs that affect youth.
You too can be involved in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program! State Farm Neighborhood Assist invites you to submit a community cause about which you are passionate and can rally behind for a chance to win one of 40 $25,000 grants, exclusively through Facebook. I recently headed over to the State Farm Neighborhood Assist voting page and found a cause in my area that I wanted to vote for. I encourage you to do the same!
