I always have people asking me how I watermark my pictures. I really do have a simple way of doing things although it may sound cumbersome. It really only takes a few seconds and is well worth it in my mind.
I use Picassa 3 and Web Albums. I edit my pictures in Picassa 3 (or sometimes Picnik) and enter text on there. For the text, I pick a large font and then type my blog name. I then slide the transparency down until it is a little less than half way so that it isn’t overpowering the photo. That is my first defense against stolen photos.
I have it set up to watermark the pictures when I transfer them to my web albums. You can make that setting in your options. So, when I get to my web albums, the photo is watermarked and has text on it. From there, I can click on the option to get links and use those in my blogging.
I have never been a fan of Photobucket or any other site to upload photos so this works well for me!
