I am sitting here on the computer while Joley sleeps in the family room. I have so much I should be doing but here I sit. So, I am going to list 13 things I should be doing but either can’t or simply don’t want to. 🙂
1. Washing towels. The kids’ washcloths are about to fall off the shelf. I need to get to those soon.
2. Figuring out what to make for dinner. I am going to try to avoid the stove again today so I really need to get working on what to put in the crockpot.
3. I need to get dressed for the day. I bathed Joley and got Johnny all ready and I am still in my pajamas. In my defense, I hate to get dressed knowing I will likely have to change again in a few hours… and in a house with a baby it is very likely I will need to change before her appointment later.
4. Vacuuming. Enough said. I need to do it.
5. Clean up the kitchen. I didn’t get to it last night because the dishes weren’t done (by Tayler) until late.
6. Flip the laundry. I realize some might not know what that means because Tayler looked at me with a strange face the first time I said it. I basically need to move the stuff in the washer to the dryer. I need to do this because Joley’s elephant lovey is in there and she will need that later.
7. Sweep the kitchen. Why are my kids so messy?
8. Go to Walmart. UGH! I need to though because my prescription has been up there for 3 days. I haven’t taken it in 2. Oops.
9. Make Johnny lunch. Hmmm, what should I make?
10. Water the plants outside. Dang though, it is HOT out there!
11. Put on some makeup. I am going out today so I will do this. I normally don’t for around the house anymore though.
12. Pay bills. I simply just don’t want to do this. I hate doing this. I despise doing this. There is never enough money.
13. Pluck my eyebrows. Maybe that seems random. It isn’t. I just caught glimpse of said eyebrows in the mirror. eek.
Head over to Thursday-13 or Happy To be At Home to enter your Thursday 13.

Laundry is a plague on my life, I'm sure. I hate it! I will do anything to avoid having to tackle the laundry. Someone ought to get busy and invent disposable clothing for crying out loud!

Wow – I don't have anything helpful to add like Kristen's kick-ass recipe. Hmm – but I could make you feel better by saying that I am too chicken to pluck my eyebrows, so know that there is another person walking around out there with eyebrow grooming on the never to be gotten to list.

I don't have many crockpot recipes, but here is my best: 2 large skinless chicken breasts on the bone,(or thighs and legs, w/o skin) 1 pkg italian sausage links (5 links) each cut into a few pieces, 1 large onion sliced, 2 green bell peppers sliced, a few garlic cloves peeled, and pour a jar of spaghetti sauce over that. You could add mushrooms, too. Add 1 cup water. Cook on low about 8 hours, or high for less time. Serve over spaghetti. The sauce gets very liquidy and flavored by the sausage, and the chicken falls right off the bone. It makes a ton of food, and it's really good!

I know the feeling! There is a lot of things I should be doing (like work) instead of sitting here reading blogs.
