First, thanks for my 4 followers. You guys are the best. 🙂 I hope others follow (ha! get it?) in your footsteps. (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
Joley had her 6 month doctor appointment today. She is doing great! The doctor was very impressed with her strength, crawling skills and her standing up with no wobbling. Way to go Joley Bear! She said to keep giving her new foods (with a few restrictions, of course) and to keep breastfeeding. Poor baby got two shots but she is doing okay.
Now, on to the good stuff. These percentages are based on the doctor’s charts… not WHO’s for breastfed babies. Just an FYI there.
Weight is 13lbs 12oz (9%)
Height is 23.75in (3%)
So, still petite. 🙂 I am happy though because she is gaining well. She was in the 6th percentile for weight at her 4 month checkup so she has jumped a bit. Yay! My (and her) hard work with breastfeeding has paid off. I am so glad.
I made a quick trip to Walgreens after the appointment to get one more tube of free (money maker) toothpaste and to use up my expiring RR. I spent a few cents over $3 and bought 7 candy bars (6 with a coupon and one at the register for Johnny), 1 tube of toothpaste and 1 Lady’s Speed Stick deodorant. Not bad. This next week doesn’t look too great though so I may be in trouble with my expiring RR. We’ll see I guess. I haven’t looked too closely yet.
Joley is upstairs crying. I am not a fan of CIO (crying it out) but I also need her to get some rest when I am not there. I am going to head up there in a second to try to calm her down. I am hoping she will eventually be able to move into her bed… at least for part of the night. Give me strength though because I can’t handle her being so upset. 🙁
Off to get my baby. Later gators!
