We went to Disney on Ice present Rockin’ Ever After a few days ago. This is our third Disney on Ice performance and this one was, by far, my favorite show. I loved all the music, the skating was superb, and the stories included some of my favorites!
We got to see Mickey before the show. My kids thought that was so cool!
The show starts with Mickey and Minnie, plus a Goofy and Donald Duck, coming to talk to us all. They give the lineup of all the “performers” in this Rockin’ Ever After show. There were several dancers participating too. It was really fun!
My favorite part of the show was during the entire Little Mermaid performance. It is my favorite Disney movie and the show was just amazing.
Tangled is one of Joley’s favorite movies. The lights were really pretty!
Intermission is always my least favorite part of these shows. The kids get antsy and I hear a million times “how much longer?” but it is worth it to get to see these shows! I took this time to try to get some pictures of my kiddos.
When the show came back, we saw Brave. I truly love this movie and this was a great part of the show. Each time she shot her arrow, there was fire. The kids loved it!
And then we saw my second favorite part… and representation of my second favorite Disney movie… Beauty and the Beast! I was so excited. I haven’t seen anything like this before. It was amazing.
Even the finale was wonderful. All the characters and extras came out. There were colored wands and the lights were bright. The kids were truly enthralled.
At the end of the show, I heard “awww, is it over?”. I had to admit that I was sad to see this one end too. If you get the chance to see this show, you really need to go. It was so good and I enjoyed every minute of it! I was truly impressed with the skating this time. There were several times when the ladies were lifted and swung around. Ariel was high in the air spinning at one point. Not only that, but there were some HUGE costumes that they did really well in. All around it was a great show!
I apologize for the picture quality. Once again, I forgot to bring my real camera so these are from my phone.
Disclosure: We were given tickets to this event. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
