Today is Johnny’s 2.5 birthday and he is officially turning into a big boy. We let Johnny sleep in his new bed over the weekend with Mason gone and then last night with Mason in the room. He hasn’t slept in his crib since Thursday so I am saying he is permanently in his new bed/bedroom. I have to say that I am very proud of him and how well he has done. It is just so bittersweet to see your “baby” grow up though.
We will move his fish this weekend after Mike anchors the desk to the wall. After that, he is out of his room for good and I will start getting Joley’s things in there and put away. I can’t believe that time is going so fast with this pregnancy. I only have 58 days until my due date! Eeek!
I went to a VBAC class (sponsored by ICAN) this weekend. It definitely was helpful and set my mind at ease about a few things I was worried about. I found it very informative and useful and I am glad that I went. I need to finish reading a few books but I am feeling much better about my decision to try for a vbac. I am still at a loss about what to do about a doula because we can’t pay for one. I am probably SOL on that aspect and I am going to have to have faith that Mike will be supportive during the labor/delivery. I am just highly doubting (no matter how much he says differently) that he will be what I need him to be at that time.
I colored Tayler’s hair last night. I will try to get a picture of it and post it later. She went from blonde to a red/brown color. It looks really cute. I also have some pics from the pumpkin patch this weekend I need to go through and will post some. It was fun and Johnny enjoyed spending time with his Bober (my dad, who works on the farm). We also got to see some pigs and goats which Johnny thought were cool!
Not much else going on. I can’t wait for the election to be over because I am SICK of debates, comments, arguments, accusations, etc. I am just ready for it all to be over so we can move on to other topics. I (obviously) am voting for Obama and nothing anyone says at this point will change my mind. Let’s just get on with it already. 🙂
