Johnny had his first soccer game tonight. He seems a bit more interested in soccer, but that really isn’t saying much. He tends to run around aimlessly and even got stuck in the net at one point. He had fun though so that is all that matters.
After you link up on my linky, feel free to go to any of the following (or all of the following)! Slice O’ Heaven, Outnumbered 3-to-1, 7 Clown Circus , 5 minutes for Mom, and J Leigh Designz.

Woops, I spelled your name with a PH! I thought I was being all remembery with the y… oh well, I’m flaky like that!

Stephany, he is so cute! I think it’s so funny how the little ones run around aimlessly in soccer games!

Owen's Mom says
How cute! I think watching the youngest kiddos out on the field is my favorite. They are so genuinely excited just to run and run. Most of the time at least half of the kiddos don’t know which way to run. Lol.
Deborah says
They look so cute in their uniforms! Glad he enjoyed it.

Your son is almost a carbon copy of a little boy I grew up that lived next door to us. His name was Tommy G. (just putting a last initial though I remember the name). You can be sure if he grows up looking like Tommy that he’s going to be oh so handsome.
It’s great he had fun at soccer, that’s the most important first step in any sport I think.
Stacy (the Random Cool Chick) says
Those are all great shots! I especially love the 3rd one. I giggled about him getting caught in the net – and glad he had fun, that’s what counts! 🙂
Stefany says
It was really funny!!!! The coach had to come save him. 🙂

So sporty! Fingers crossed that my 13 month old will want to play soccer one day! So much fun to watch!

I always love it when the shorts are so long that you can’t see any skin on their legs between the shorts and socks!

We are a soccer fam too! Dude #1 is entering his like 400th season or something crazy like that. And, #2 is on his 4th I think. They love it and I’m sorta starting to too. Now, if I could just figure out the rules I bet it’d get really exciting!

LOL Yep, that sounds about right. My son is 9 and just now actually getting into the game of sports. Before that it was rolling in the dirt, staring at bugs and picking his nose in the outfield.
I see he’s already checking out the girls. 🙂
