This post is in cooperation with Purina. As always, thoughts and opinions are my own.

Keeping my dogs and cat healthy is very important to me. One of the easiest ways to do that is to feed them food that provides proper nutrition, or smart nutrition as Purina calls it. By changing your pet’s food, you can see some big changes in their behavior, their appearance, and their overall health.

Purina ONE is encouraging dog owners to take the Purina ONE 28 Day Challenge for themselves. They want to demonstrate the positive difference smart nutrition can make. What have users seen? Some have seen differences like bright eyes, a shiny coat, increased energy, and healthy teeth and gums. Are you interested in what we saw when we took the 28 Day Challenge?

We made the switch with both of our dogs. Both of our dogs have great teeth and gums so we didn’t notice much difference there. I did see more energy with Elvis who tends to be my more lazy dog. They both also have a very shiny, soft coat and beautiful, bright eyes.

That energy I mentioned? This is a picture, the best I could get actually, of Rocky running. He has such huge muscles and runs so fast that he is really a blur on the camera.

The Purina ONE formula we chose was the True Instinct Formula with Real Turkey and Venison. We have big dogs and they need help with their muscles and heart. This formula offers turkey as its first ingredient and includes the venison giving it a good amount of protein. These proteins are what help keep muscles strong and the heart healthy.

Showing off his pretty teeth and shiny coat, Rocky can’t stop moving long enough for me to get a good picture. I think he is so handsome all the time but we have seen a great difference in the condition of his coat after the 28 Day Challenge.

We will be continuing with the Purina ONE food for a couple reasons. One is that we like the difference it has made with our pups. The second reason is that the food is affordable and that is important to us.

I love how Purina helps shelter pups so much. Did you know that through their partnerships with shelters across the country, they provide smart nutrition solutions to help dogs look and feel their best? Those pups need that when they are waiting for their forever home! I know that a healthy, happy dog is what I always want when going to shelters.

Do you have a dog you would like to take the Purina ONE 28 Day Challenge with? You can still sign up and be part of the movement to better, smart nutrition for your beloved dog!

We have two pets. We have a 20 month old Lab (mix but mostly Lab) puppy named Dobby. We also have a Siamese at named Jules. I started paying more attention to what they eat over the last year.

I only have one cat but my sister has 3 dogs. We both go through a ton of food. Having an affordable HEALTHY option is super important!

I have an incredibly high energy Dutch Shepherd. I totally understand why you couldnt get a clear ‘in motion’ shot. Our Dutchie is solid muscle and runs like lightening!
