Joley is growing like a little weed. She was 10lbs 5oz at the appt last week. She is steadily gaining about 3/4 ounce a day. I know that will slow down around 3 months but I am glad to see it now. She is outgrowing some of her cloth diapers and can't fit into newborn clothes anymore. It is bittersweet... Quick update
Joley has a doc appt today to check her weight. I am nervous. I would appreciate any good thoughts you may have.I have lost enough weight now that I can wear normal size clothes (not plus sized). I am needing shirts really bad though so I am going to head to Goodwill this weekend and try to find something. Just another day…
Thank you to those that read and commented on my birth story. When Mike got home last night, I told him that I sat and finally typed it all out but that I wasn't able to actually read it. I then proceeded to cry and tell him that I remember nothing from that night. It was 3 hours after her birth that I finally have some memory of what happened. A curveball in my plans
Today was supposed to be the first day back to normal for me, Johnny and Joley. I had my alarm set to get up and pump and feed Joley before the kids had to get up for school. Damn ice ruined the plans. So far, so good
No one in our house has gotten any symptoms of Pertussis. Thank goodness. We have colds but should be okay on the cough issue since we started antibiotics. Sadly, they are really upsetting baby girl's belly and we have about an hour a night that she is a crying and screaming mess. Poor baby. Johnny seems to be doing fine on it as is Mike.
