Oh dear junk drawer… you are my enemy. Yes, I have so much junk stuff in my “junk” drawer that it is overflowing. Truth be told, I actually have more than one junk drawer. It really is that bad.
Rubbermaid sent me a Drawer Organization Kit to try to tackle my junk drawer problem. I think the problem is that we were just throwing things in there without any rhyme or reason. Now, we have this…
Okay now. You might be thinking that it still looks pretty messy. The thing is that we are able to find things in this drawer now. While it is still overstuffed (totally our fault), everything now has a place. The drawer organizer has given us some reason to our rhyme…. some sense to our chaos! I am very pleased with the results after using the Rubbermaid Drawer Organizer!
Just to be fair, this is one picture of our other junk drawer. It is a chaotic mess and nothing is organized at all. I could use some organizing here for sure!

My kids and husband throw so many things in there that it is amazing at what I don’t find in there…there is always something strange in our drawer but I guess the strangest was soda bottle caps. I save the Coke caps for coke points but someone had put just some random caps in the drawer.

So funny how every has a junk drawer! I just checked mine for the funniest thing…and I found Silly Putty. I always use to put Silly Putty in my daughters’ Easter Baskets. My youngest daughter is now 15…so I have now idea how long it has been in the junk drawer. (Opened it up and the silly putty is still soft!)

Just cleaned our junk drawer. Funniest thing?? The ivory from one of our piano keys. If it wasn’t needed on the piano it would be even funnier.

The strangest thing I have are old candy wrappers, the kids keep putting them in there I take the old one out and new ones keep appearing. Now one will say who’s doing it, so I say I have lots of ghost who love candy.
