PowerMat Wireless Charging System Review and Giveaway

We are a household of electronics.  Between the Blackberry, cell phones, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, iTouch, and even more, there are always things that need to be charged.  One of my biggest gripes is the amount of cords that we have and how they manage to hang out on our counters.  It drives me batty to have cords tangled up and laying around.

That was until the PowerMat Wireless Charging system came into our lives.  I have been thinking about this post over the past week and wanting to do justice to the product that has literally made my house more organized, my family more organized, and this mommy happy.  You may think I have lost my mind at this point, right?  I mean, what is the big deal you may be asking yourself.  Let me just tell you.

Now, at any time during the day, I can set my Blackberry Tour on the PowerMat to be charged.  There are no cords that need to be plugged into it.  There is no cord that needs to be found.  I just simply set my Blackberry onto the PowerMat and walk away.  The kids no longer have to complain about needing to charge their Nintendo DS.  It was always a mess trying to figure out what charger goes with which DS and then having to find an open plug.  No more.  The kids can simply place the Nintendo DS on the PowerMat.  They can charge things themselves and I don’t have to hear any complaining about it.

Even for something like Mike’s or Kenzie’s cell phone is able to be charged with the PowerMat.  With each PowerMat Home and Office Mat, you will also get a Powercube with 8 tips that can be used for things like a cell phone or other mobile devices.  One cord and we are finished.  One cord plugged into one outlet and all these things can be charged… and even better, up to four products can be charged at once!!!  You can charge three on the mat itself and then another through a USB cable (if that is applicable) through the back.

If you travel often, there is a PowerMat especially with you in mind.  The Portable PowerMat folds up into a cube and comes with a carry case.  You still can charge 3 products on it and you still get the Powercube and tips.  Folded up and in its case, you can guarantee to have plenty of room for other things you need while still making sure all your necessities (cell phone, blackberry, etc) are going to be charged and ready for use.

The PowerMat is the perfect addition to any household that has multiple electronics.  But, it doesn’t have to be a household with an overwhelming amount of items like ours.  If you are an iPhone user, you can buy a PowerMat that works just for that.  You can also purchase a dock for your iPod or iPhone.  The people from PowerMat have thought of everyone though.  For my Blackberry, it was simply a matter of removing the battery door and replacing it with the PowerMat receiver.  It may be slightly larger now but it is VERY much worth that to me.  For the Nintendo DS, it was simply a matter of placing the PowerMat back panel on it.  For my iTouch, I placed the PowerMat over the entire thing.  The PowerMat door, case, panel, and dock are all very sturdy.  I have had NO problems with anything we received.  In addition the PowerMat Wireless Charging System mat is sturdy and slim.  It takes up much less space than all the cords we once had sitting around.

I am in love with my PowerMat.  I have suggested it to several people since we received it and I am going to do the same to you.  You need to purchase one.  You won’t be disappointed.  I promise you that!  One thing that I wanted to make sure I mentioned is that the PowerMat charges our electronics as fast or faster than charging them through their power cords.  This is especially important for those game systems that my kids “can’t live without”.  The PowerMat has little sounds and lights that let you know when you electronics are charging and the sound plays again when your item is removed.  It stops the charging when it is completed so the battery won’t be overcharged but still monitors that battery while it is on the mat.
