Chuggington DVD: Chuggers to the Rescue (Review and Giveaway)

Johnny and Joley loved the first Chuggington DVD.  They love the characters and talk about them often.  When I heard there was a second Chuggington DVD available, Chuggers to the Rescue, I knew they would be thrilled.

Through their exciting adventures and daring escapades, complete with jetpacks and storm machines, Wilson, Brewster and Koko help one another out of jams, learn emergency rescue skills and take on new responsibilities, while they – and young trainees at home – learn about patience, accountability, following instructions and how to get the job done!  The action-packed DVD features appearances from special “Chuggington” friends, Calley, Dunbar, Zephie and Mtambo.

I have said time and time again that I love how some kid’s shows teach valuable life lessons. Chuggington is one of those shows that I know will teach my children lessons that are invaluable to their maturity and social skills. Patience and accountability are very important at this young age and I am happy that a DVD can reinforce what I teach my kids everyday.

I think this would make a fantastic gift for a preschooler who loves trains. It would also be great to use in a preschool classroom to reinforce the social skills that children are taught. Regardless, I am sure any little train lover will enjoy this great DVD.
