Life has been crazy… crazy busy, crazy hectic, and crazy depresssing.  Why?  My job was turning me into a mom I don’t want to be.  I was working way more than I expected and was so tired when I got home that everything was put on the back burner including this beloved blog.  I am hoping to be back more now since I have a new job in the works and a few weeks off before it starts… but more about that later.

For now, I want to talk to you about something that has made my family very happy lately.  I am talking about HERSHEY’S CAMP BONDFIRE… or the art of making s’mores.   It has been so hot here in St. Louis.  In fact, we have had record setting temps over the past few weeks and it is disgusting and sticky outside.  So, while I would love to go outside with the kids and make a big fire and make s’mores, that is just not an option.  Don’t worry though.  You can have s’mores in your home even if it is a sweltering 105 degrees outside!

All you need are your supplies… Hershey’s bars, marshmallows, and graham crackers… and a microwave!

Yes, you can do this in your microwave.  So, even though we couldn’t go outside and celebrate a HERSHEY’S CAMP BONDFIRE, we made our own camp inside and celebrated just the same.  Once the temps start coming down, I promise you we will be out and enjoying the s’mores in the way they were intended… outdoors and over a nice fire!

What about you?  Has it been super hot around you?  Are you planning to enjoy some S’mores this year???

Disclosure:  This post is part of my participation in the HERSHEY’S CAMP BONDFIREcampaign. All opinions expressed are mine.

I think you’re right. If you’ve had any kind of really positive experience, you can associate those experiences with other.

YES to this one. For pretty much all the reasons you said. I think, if this one lives up to its premise, it’ll be insanely fantastic.

The other problem with the “infinite bookstore” is that the old classics are harder to dislodge to make way for the new. These days I follow most of my favourite authors on social media.

Reading is very personal, so a recommendation should be based on a person’s interests.
