This post is part of the SPLENDA® 365 SWEET SWAPS ™ blogger program by McNeil Nutritionals, LLC. and The Motherhood, who sent me products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are my own, and I hope you enjoy them.

Splenda Sweet Swaps

Experts recommend women consume no more than 6 teaspoons of added sugar a day, yet the average American eats 22 teaspoons daily! I can promise you that I am guilty of going over the 6 teaspoons and that needs to change! Most of us vastly underestimate the amount of sugar we eat because the sweet stuff is hiding in some of our favorite foods and beverages, like vanilla lattes, fruit flavored yogurt, salad dressing and cereal. Once we realize where the sugar is hiding, we can come up with ways to eliminate the excess sugar from our diets!

Throughout 2014, SPLENDA Brand is dishing out 365 ways to swap sugar for SPLENDA Sweetener Products to save calories all year long! You too can join in this fantastic challenge. Splenda is making it very easy on you (and me) by offering us 365 ways to swap sugar for SPLENDA Sweetener Products. Visit http://www.365SweetSwaps.com for tips and recipes to help you save calories from added sugar all year long. Easy peasy, right?

I’ve been given a challenge and it is one I am so excited about. I am going to swap out the high calorie sugar we normally use and instead use Splenda! When I first accepted this challenge I had no idea the amount of products that Splenda had available to use and am now even more excited than before. This is going to be such fun and I can’t wait to see what we can do!

The first thing I did when I got our package was start using Splenda in my coffee. As you can see above, Splenda even has Flavors for Coffee. These are no calorie flavors you can use to make your coffee taste delicious without all the extra calories. When we make iced tea, the Sweetener Packets come in handy to add as much or as little as we like in a convenient little package. The kids and I have our hearts set on some delicious desserts as well and that will be coming soon right here.

Be sure to visit http://www.365SweetSwaps.com for daily tips and recipes to help you save calories all year long. You too can enjoy the benefits of low calories and great taste!

I also wanted to invite you to participate in a Twitter party tomorrow (March 4, 2014) at 11am CST, noon EST. You will find some recipes, tips and other simple lifestyle changes that can lead to big results over time!  Prizes will be randomly awarded to five participants who answer the trivia questions correctly. Each prize includes a $50 Visa Gift Card and an assortment of SPLENDA® Sweetener Products! Prizes limited to U.S. participants only.
