I am on a break from cloth diapers. I am not sure when or if I will go back to cloth. On one hand, I really miss the big fluffy butts. On the other, I don’t miss the laundry and all the work that went into two kids in cloth.
All that said, we are now using disposables and I am on a constant quest to get a good deal. Not helping the situation any is that I am very picky about what diapers I use. I don’t like some because of smell, some because of liners, some because of tabs. But, amazingly I found some that I like that are pretty inexpensive!
I have been buying Walgreens brand diapers for Johnny for a few months now. I don’t use cheap diapers at night because I have cleaned up too many leaks and have seen too many rashes. So, I buy Huggies for Johnny for bed. I bought some Walgreens diapers for Joley yesterday and will use what is left of her Luvs for bedtime.
Why I am telling you (boring you) with all this information? You don’t care what is on my kids’ butts, do you? I know. I know.
I am telling you because I got a great deal and had to share. I bought 4 packs of diapers for Johnny, 2 packs for Joley and a tub of Huggies wipes. After coupons, I spent $21.45!!!!! Six packs of diapers and a tub of wipes for just over $20! Can’t beat that. It really does pay to watch sales, cut and use coupons!
