I have shared with you before how much we love Jake and the Never Land Pirates. In fact, it is one show that I truly don’t mind watching with my kids. Both Johnny and Joley both love the show and music both. The stories are cute and I enjoy how Jake, Izzy, and Cubby always work together… something I stress with my kids. But, we aren’t alone in our love for this fun show.
Jake and the Never Land Pirates has soared in ratings and like me, many moms are watching it with their kiddos; 45% say they do. It is so popular that it is cable’s #1 series for boys aged 2 to 5 since its launch. It is on track to be Disney Channel’s #1 preschool series ever. As you can guess, Jake and the Never Land Pirates are going to be back for a new season in January.
I am very excited to be able to tell you about an upcoming holiday show of Jake and the Never Land Pirates that will release even before season 2. On Friday, December 2nd at 8:30-9 am ET/PT, you will be able to see It’s a Winter Never Land! / Hook On Ice. In this special episode, Jake, Izzy and Cubby awake to find that Peter Pan has left the crew some presents and a tree to celebrate Winter Treasure Day. Also, Captain Hook invites Jake and the crew on a winter treasure hunt. I think my kids are going to love it!
It is also my pleasure to share this exciting news with you… in early 2012, there is going to be a brand new 24-hour Disney Junior channel! This means that your children will have all-the-time access to their favorite Disney Junior shows. You can set them up with some educational and fun shows during those rough times like late afternoon or early evening. I can’t wait to tell my kids that they can see their favorite shows while I am making dinner; a time when they seem to think I need them under foot!
There are lots of exciting things coming up, right? Have you checked out the fantastic Jake and the Never Land Pirates yet? Do your kids love Disney Junior like mine do?
