Today was party day for Johnny’s 4th birthday. My mom and dad, sister and her family, and my friend Jenny and her two kids came over for some pizza, cake and to party! There were 6 adults and 9 kids here and it was lots of fun!
Johnny chose to have Super Mario Brothers for his birthday party theme. There were so many to choose from on the Birthday Express website, but he chose to celebrate with Super Mario Bros. Thanks to Birthday Express, we had all the supplies we could need. The balloons were a big hit with Johnny and the plastic-lined tablecloth was a winner with me (like it seriously saved my table)! The kids all loved their goodie boxes and I loved how easy Birthday Express made it for me to get everything. I just chose a package and it was all there in the box. All I had to do was unpack it and put a few things together (like the centerpiece and the boxes for the goodies).
I made Johnny’s cakes again this year. He told me that he wanted a Luigi cake and I just had to laugh. He really overestimates my abilities. So, I talked him into a Super Mario Bros. mushroom. I made a blue and green one.
I think everyone had a good time. Johnny was full of smiles today.
Johnny got a very cool Radio Flyer big wheel from my parents. I am telling you, it is neat! I wish I could fit on it! Joley seemed to like it too. I honestly have more pics of her on it than Johnny! She really thinks she is big now.
It was a good time and I am so thankful for my family and my friend for coming and making it so much fun. Thank you to Birthday Express too for the great birthday package. It made my day so much easier and all decorations were wonderful!
disclosure: We were given party supplies for Johnny’s party from Birthday Express through Mom Bloggers Club. I did not receive monetary compensation for this post and all thoughts and opinions are my own. My experience may differ than others.
