Oh boy! Did you see the premiere of V, season 2 last week??? There is so many events happening on this show. Mike and I sat down to watch together and there is one point that really is sticking out with me. Erica, whose son is Tyler, remembers something from her past that may have a very big impact on this season.
Erica learns that the Vs need Phosphorus to breed. While thinking about this, she remembers that, when she was pregnant with Tyler, she had high levels of Phosphorus in her system. Hmmm… makes you wonder! Now the question is raised if Tyler is an early attempt at breeding Vs and humans. We know that the Vs have been around on earth a lot longer than they originally acted so this is a possibility and one that I am very excited to see play out this season.
I was also interested to see the relationship between Lisa (Anna the queen’s daughter) and Tyler develop more from last season. In addition, to see the interaction of Lisa and Anna take on a new light because of Lisa’s involvement in the death of the baby Vs (at the end of Season 1). Lisa was the one that gave Erica the means to terminate the V babies! I look forward to how all of this will play out this season. Lisa and Tyler are becoming closer and closer and I highly doubt Anna will be very glad about this… because we have to wonder where Lisa’s loyalties lie.
If you are a bit lost by this post and would like to learn more about what happened in Season 1, I would highly suggest you take a gander at the Season 1 DVD set, which you can purchase here: http://bit.ly/e6ABTG. If you missed the Season 2 premiere, check out the ABC.com V page to view it here: http://abc.go.com/shows/v/index.
The second show in Season 2 can be seen on ABC on January 11th at 9/8 Central.
If you watched it, tell me what you thought of the first show of Season 2. I would love to know your thoughts about the story lines and how they are playing out with the start of this season.
